The Night Before The Trial

An unfinished one act play written by Anton Chekhov in the mid 1890’s. The action takes place in a Russian post house. After taking refuge from the hellish blizzard the protagonist Zaytsev gets more than he bargained for when he tries to seduce the very young wife of an older man who are also spending the night. In the interest of the audience the director and actors have work shopped the remainder of the play.
