Premature Burial

is an experimental silent film adapted from the medical account of Mr Edward Stapleton's premature burial, revealed and written by Edgar Allan Poe. Believed and pronounced dead by doctors, Mr. Stapleton was reported to have been suffering Typhus fever. However, there were unusual and unexplained symptoms. The medical practitioners wanted to investigate further but Stapleton's friends and family refused to donate his body for scientific experiments. The determined doctors waited until after the burial and proceeded to hire the work of a body snatching corporation. During the operation, and to the astonishment of the doctors, Stapleton comes back to life.
